Children's Ministry

(Grades K-5)
Children’s Ministries (K-5th Grade) – Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven” belongs to such as these.  At Bethlehem, we believe our children offer us a glimpse of God’s love on earth, and we empower them to make a difference in the world around them, serving God in their own lives.  Our KidQuest mid-week Bible Study ministry, weekly Sunday School classes, Stepping Stones milestone classes, and Vacation Bible School allow children to learn about God’s love while feeling a part of a special community and making lasting friendships.  Fellowship opportunities bring families together throughout the year! Ongoing Programs

Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones is a multi-year journey to support parents and children who are growing in faith. Annual milestones allow families to explore faith connections together. The program, which is for 1st through 5th graders, offers one designated program to each grade during the school year.

  • 1st Graders Basic Bible Workshop
  • 2nd Graders Prayer Bear Workshop
  • 3rd Graders First Communion Workshop
  • 4th Grader Advanced Bible Workshop
  • 5th Grade Family Values Workshop

Vacation Bible School

During the mornings of one week each summer, children (ages 3 years through 5th Grade) share in an extraordinary experience! The program boasts a unique and fun theme, elaborate decorations transform our halls, and children learn about God’s love and presence in their lives while making friends and unforgettable memories!

Sunday School

Bethlehem offers Sunday School at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday morning, with classes for children 2 years old through 5th Grade. Quality background-checked teachers and small classes make this an excellent environment for growing in God’s love.

Wednesday Night KidQuest

All children, Kindergarten through 5th Grade, are welcome to register for KidQuest, Bethlehem’s Wednesday-evening Bible study and music program. The program features important Bible stories and characters who teach us about living for God. These stories are supplemented by crafts, games, science experiments, service projects, and discussions that will bring meaningful life lessons to the children.
