Bob Gehm

Bob and his wife Sue have been disciples at Bethlehem since 1991. Bob has served previously on Council and has also been involved in various ministries over the years including finance and stewardship. He served as a confirmation small group leader for many years and was involved in many of the youth mission trips. He is currently on the ushering team and enjoys participating as a worship assistant. Bob was part of the Strategic Planning team in 2012 and is looking forward to working with the Council and Leadership teams to implement some of the initiatives that came out of the planning process. In addition to his church ministries, Bob is also involved in community service and is currently a member of the St. Charles Liquor Commission and is the treasurer of his homeowner’s association. Bob works for a consulting firm and is currently working as a senior project manager at Com Ed. Bob and Sue have two grown sons, Peter and Ross, who were both raised at Bethlehem. They deeply value what this faith community has brought to their family in helping shape the character of their children and want to see the ministries grow and become stronger for families to come. Bob is honored to serve on Council again at this time in Bethlehem’s life as the church grows in its commitment to becoming a faith community called to be disciples 24/7.
