Award Recipient of the Bronze Circle of Quality

Through ExceleRate Illinois, the state’s new quality recognition and improvement system for early learning and development providers, Bethlehem Preschool has been awarded the Bronze Circle of Quality! This is a distinguished level of quality and we could not be more proud of our Preschool. Congratulations! If you want to learn more about the program, and what this means for students and parents, please visit www.excelerateillinois.com.

I am pleased to welcome all of our Bethlehem Preschool Center families! Since 1968, Bethlehem has provided quality childcare and preschool programs to the children of the Fox Valley.

We are proud that you have chosen our preschool for your child. We look forward to sharing in the development of your child during these important early years. Your child’s needs are our top priority. We offer a safe, loving Christian environment in which your child may experience many creative activities geared toward his/her own developmental level. We are committed to forming a partnership with each family to better meet the needs not only of the child, but of the family as well. The direct support and involvement of the family are essential to the success of our program. We encourage you to visit at any time. We are always available to answer questions and listen to your concerns.

If you do not have a church home, you may want to consider becoming part of the vibrant and growing community of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Bethlehem conducts one Saturday evening worship service and three Sunday morning worship services. In addition to worship opportunities, there is an array of youth and adult educational and fellowship opportunities from which to choose. Please feel free to call the church office for more information or to speak with a member of the church staff. The number is (630) 584-2199.

May we all experience a fun-filled and successful year!

What Our Parents Have to Say…

My preschool daughter who is in attendance at Bethlehem is now finishing her 2nd year. My other
daughter also attended for 2 years. The program is fantastic. The teachers and staff are extremely professional. We will miss being here and recommended the school to all friends and preschool children.

I find the level of commitment from teachers, director and director assistant is just incredible. I have never seen such a group of dedicated, friendly, and caring people. I am very happy and relieved to have found Bethlehem to leave my most precious people–my children.

I have 3 children that attend Bethlehem Preschool and have encouraged other families that attend as well. I always know Bethlehem has my child’s best interest at heart. They are a warm and caring facility with wonderful age-appropriate lesson plans. This facility is run very well; one of their strong points, besides what I’ve mentioned, is communication.

I love that Bethlehem understands how precious this time is and helps to create lasting memories, i.e. Pumpkin Decorating, Mother’s Day Tea, holiday parties are always special with treasures (gifts) as keepsakes-songs. We have wonderful memories of preschool.

Statement of Purpose

The purpose of Bethlehem Preschool Center is to provide a warm, physically safe atmosphere of love, concern, support, and acceptance for children. The basic motivation for this ministry to children is the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. The seven-member Preschool Ministry Team of dedicated Bethlehem Church members composes its policy-making body. This team is part of the ministry of Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Preschool Ministry Team supports and advises the director in this ministry. The director is a liaison between the preschool staff, the church staff, the congregational council, and the Ministry Team. The director and the Ministry team work together and continually seek to provide a well-rounded developmental program, which meets the physical, emotional, social, cognitive and spiritual needs of each child.
