Summer “Camp” Sessions 2010

Please call the Preschool if you are interested in any of these camp sessions.  A $50 deposit per child per camp session is required at the time of registration.  The deposit fee will be applied toward the cost of the session. Each session requires a minimum of 7 students to enroll in order for us to run the program.  We reserve the right to cancel any sessions not meeting the minimum enrollment. The deposit fees will be returned to you should that occur.

All sessions are Monday thru Friday from 9:00-12:00pm, except for Junior Chefs Camp. The hours for Junior Chefs camp are 9:00-12:30 Monday thru Friday to allow extra time for lunch. All sessions are $85 per child. Junior Chefs camp is $120 per child.

Session 1: Dinosaurs Galore                           Date: June 7-11

            This camp is so popular; you want to sign up quickly!  In this camp, our young archeologists will dig for dinosaur bones, make and take home dinosaur fossils, and sponge paint dinosaurs on tee-shirts (Each child must bring in a solid color tee-shirt on the first day of camp).  The children will have a “roaring” good time for sure!

Session 2: Underground Adventures              Date: June 21-25

            Learn about underground creatures and go “explore” their world with magnifying glasses, bug jars and catchers.  Children will make “creepy crawlers” art and go on nature hikes in the forest preserve to look for their favorite bugs/insects!  Come see what the “buzz” is all about!

Session 3: Junior Chefs                                   Date: July 12-16

            Another camp you won’t want to miss! In this camp, our junior chefs will get to make their own snacks and lunch to eat everyday!  They will also explore art using food as mediums, design their own chef’s hats or aprons, sample food for science, and work on their math skills by counting, sorting, and patterning food items.  What a yummy way to learn!

Session 4: Pirates & Treasures                        Date: July 19-23

            Come aboard ma-ties and join the fun as we pretend to be pirates and look for treasures!  We’ll build our very own pirate ship, design our own maps and go on actual adventures looking for those lost gold and gems!  Will we find them, or will we get captured first?

Session 5: Knights & Princesses                     Date: August 2-6

            Children love stories about knights in shining armors, enchanted castles, brave princesses and ferocious fire breathing dragons.  In this camp, your child will be able to join in the fantasy and become a princess, a knight and a dragon!  In our royal castle, we will make dragon puppets, decorate armor, crown, and scepters.  We will also learn fun facts about what it was really like to live in a castle.

(Three year olds have the option to attend class on just Tuesday & Thursday at a

two day tuition rate.)

 

Four and Five Year Old Mixed-Age Preschool

Mon/Tue/Wed/Thur 9:00-11:30 Mornings

 

Pre-Kindergarten Class

Mon/Tue/Wed/Thur 12:15-2:45 Afternoons

 

All-Day Child Care (3-5 years old)

Monday to Friday 6:30 am until 5:30 pm

 

Notes:

• Preschool Class eligibility based on age as of September 1st.
• Pre-Kindergarden Class eligibility based on age 5 by December 31st.
• Part-time full day rate may be available.
• Half-Day Preschool runs from September to May.
• Public registration begins first Monday in February.
• Summer Sessions will be returning in June, July and August 2008. Dates, times and themes are To Be Announced.
• Extended days for Preschool are also available.

Tuition Rates: 2010/2011

• 2 day Preschool program $125.00/month
• 3 day Preschool program $160.00/month
• 4 day Preschool program $185.00/month
• Child Care Program $175.00/week
• 2 day Child Care program $84.00/week
• 3 day Child Care program $118.00/week
• 4 day Child Care program $148/week

Child Care is year round. Registration is ongoing.
Sibling discount: 2nd younger sibling receives 10% discount
Church members receive a 5% discount

Call (630-584-6027) or email (blcpreschool@bethlehemluth.org) to arrange a time to come and visit or tour the Preschool.

1. Pick up registration forms.
2. Pay $75 registration fee.
3. Return the registration forms (medical form & birth certificate required).
4. Let us know when you would like to start!
