May 29, 2016. Racism and prejudice run rampant in our communities. As people of faith we must choose who will be our voice of authority on how we shall live as the Church. Jesus is the only choice. He calls us to operate with compassion, love, justice and acceptance of the “other.” His authority can change our hearts and teach us to live like He li... [read more]

Jesus calls us to live under a s... [read more]

April 17, 2016. It isn't unusual that Jesus would be referred to as the Good Shepherd. We have many voices calling for our attention today, but, will we listen and trust the voice of our Good Shepherd? We need to have the full confidence that Jesus will never lead us astray. Let us recommit ourselves to following Jesus. Download a transcript of thi... [read more]

April 3, 2016. Today, in our scripture readings, we hear two testimonies of faith. The psalmist declares to God “You are my God” and Thomas, in the gospel lesson, tells Jesus, “you are my Lord and my God.”  As we reflect upon their testimonies, think about how these proclamations of faith led the psalmist and Thomas into action. Because they believ... [read more]
