When a child is baptized, the parents and sponsors make a promise; to help their children grow in the Christian faith and life.  One grows in faith through worship, study, service, and sacrifice–basically all the ways a disciple follows Jesus every day.  When a child is baptized, our congregation also makes a promise, to accompany and support parents, sponsors and children in building a strong foundation that will support a life-long journey of discipleship.

At Bethlehem we journey with children and families to make disciples through our Sunday School, Stepping Stones, mid-week Adventure Club, yearly vacation Bible school, and music programs.

Stepping Stones is a multi-year journey to support parents and children who are growing in faith. Annual milestones allow families to explore faith connections together. The program, which is for 1st through 5th graders, offers one designated program to each grade during the school year.

  • 2nd Graders Prayer Bear Workshop
  • 3rd Graders First Communion Workshop
  • 4th Grader Advanced Bible Workshop
  • 5th Grade Family Values Workshop

Vacation Bible School

During the mornings of one week each summer, children (ages 3 years through 5th Grade) share in an extraordinary experience! The program boasts a unique and fun theme, elaborate decorations transform our halls, and children learn about God’s love while making friends and unforgettable memories!

Sunday School

Bethlehem offers two tracks of Sunday School at 9:15 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. each Sunday morning, with classes for children 2 years old through high school. Quality teachers and small classes make this an excellent environment for growing in God’s love.

Wednesday Night KidQuest

All children, Kindergarten through 5th Grade, are welcome to register for KidQuest, Bethlehem’s Wednesday-evening Bible study. The program features important Bible stories and characters who teach us about living for God. These stories are supplemented by crafts, games, service projects, and discussions that will bring meaningful life lessons to the children.
