When a child is baptized, the parents and sponsors make a promise; to help their children grow in the Christian faith and life.  One grows in faith through worship, study, service, and sacrifice–basically all the ways a disciple follows Jesus every day.  When a child is baptized, our congregation also makes a promise, to accompany and support parents, sponsors and children in building a strong foundation that will support a life-long journey of discipleship.

At Bethlehem we journey with children and families to make disciples through our Sunday School, Stepping Stones, mid-week Adventure Club, yearly vacation Bible school, and music programs.

Upcoming Events

“Trunk or Treat” ~ Sunday, October 29 ~ 3:00-4:00pm
Oct 29 @ 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Kids of all  ages welcome at Bethlehem’s Trunk or Treat event!

Halloween is such a magical time of dress-up and pretend for kids.  Disciples of all ages can be a part of that fun this year with Bethlehem’s Trunk or Treat event on Sunday, October 29, from 3:00-4:00pm!

Weather-permitting, children of all ages are invited to trick or treat in the church’s back parking lot.  How does this work?  Any disciple can sign up to be a “trunk.”  This means you’ll park your car in our lot, fill the trunk with peanut-free treats and non-scary Halloween decorations, and greet our happy Halloweeners as they parade around! Children, accompanied by a parent, will stop at each trunk and show off their costumes.

The playground and backyard area will serve as home base for families, and story time will be held in the grass.   Also, as part of the afternoon, we’ll be giving back part of our candy load to needy children at Hesed House.

Sign up your “trunk” and/or register your children to particpate in this free event!

Vacation Bible School

During the mornings of one week each summer, children (ages 3 years through 5th Grade) share in an extraordinary experience! The program boasts a unique and fun theme, elaborate decorations transform our halls, and children learn about God’s love while making friends and unforgettable memories!

Sunday School

Bethlehem offers two tracks of Sunday School at 9:15 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. each Sunday morning, with classes for children 2 years old through high school. Quality teachers and small classes make this an excellent environment for growing in God’s love.

Wednesday Night KidQuest

All children, Kindergarten through 5th Grade, are welcome to register for KidQuest, Bethlehem’s Wednesday-evening Bible study. The program features important Bible stories and characters who teach us about living for God. These stories are supplemented by crafts, games, service projects, and discussions that will bring meaningful life lessons to the children.
