Holy Week 2021

Easter Sunday – Apr. 4
– Sunrise services at 7:00am and 7:45am
– Pre-recorded service sent out at 8:30am

In addition to sending out a prerecorded service on Easter morning, we are also offering two outdoor worship services at Union Cemetery at 6:15 and 7:00am! Each service is limited to 50 people; we will all wear masks and practice social distancing with those outside of our families. Each worship service will be about 30 minutes.

The Stations of the Cross at Bethlehem

View the Stations Here

The Stations of the Cross (or Way of the Cross) consist of a series of images with corresponding scriptures and prayers that chronicle the passion of Christ from his anguish in the Garden of Gethsemane, through his arrest and trial, to his crucifixion and burial.

We are so grateful that 18 artists from our congregation have created art for each of the 14 stations. These stations will be set up around the front yard at Bethlehem, and we invite you to come and walk this journey anytime between 3:00pm on Palm Sunday (March 28) and sundown on Holy Saturday (April 3).

We encourage all to use this as a prayerful devotion during this holiest week of the year. This outdoor project was created out of a desire to continue to seek new and safe ways to worship during this time of pandemic. Many thanks to John Volkening for putting this together!
