Summer Worship at BLC
During the month of August, worship will be at 9:00am on Sundays in the sanctuary. Everyone in attendance will be expected to practice physical distancing and wear a face mask (even if vaccinated). We will share in Holy Communion through the use of the individual communion kits available on your way into worship each week. At the close of worship, ushers will guide us out of the worship space. If you’d like to stick around and greet other disciples, please do so outdoors!

Summer preaching series on the book of Acts
The book of Acts is about transformation. It tells the story of how a small group of Galilean Jews who followed Jesus and witnessed his resurrection became a countercultural movement that spread throughout the Roman Empire. This community of faith – created, empowered, and led by the Spirit – witnesses to the power of the gospel at work to restore and heal the world. This summer at BLC, we will journey slowly through the book of Acts, and we trust that the stories of the church in its earliest days will inspire us to be clear and bold in our witness today!
August 1 – Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch – Acts 8:26-40
August 8 – The conversion of Peter – Acts 10:1-48
August 15 – Turning the world upside down – Acts 17:1-9
August 22 – A riot in Ephesus – Acts 19:21-41
August 29 – On trial for the resurrection – Acts 24:1-27
September 5 – And so we came to Rome – Acts 28:1-31
